Shopfitter is pleased to offer on-line credit card authorisation with WorldPay - the UK's largest payment gateway.

 

WorldPay accepts almost any currency, and can remit funds to your account in over 22 countries around the world - truly global commerce!

If you already have a Merchant ID and PDQ machine, WorldPay allows you to automatically validate your orders on line. You do not need to re-enter your orders on your PDQ machine. If you do not have a Merchant ID, WorldPay provides a quick and cost effective way of accepting credit cards. You can even process your non-Shopfitter orders using WorldPay's virtual PDQ machine on the Internet! To find out more about WorldPay's products and services, please visit www.worldpay.com.

Registering with WorldPay

To register with WorldPay, visit the Shopfitter & WorldPay Sign Up Page.

This will take you to WorldPay's online application form.

 

Preliminary approval is given straight away; full approval of your application takes on average 48 hours. WorldPay can give you an Internet Merchant ID, if you do not already have a relationship as an Internet merchant with your bank.

 

Integrating Shopfitter with Worldpay

Integrating your Shopfitter Shop with your WorldPay account is straightforward. Once you have received confirmation of your WorldPay account you need to complete two steps:

 

Add your WorldPay Installation ID using your Shopfitter Order Viewer

 

Confirm the response URL with WorldPay

1. Adding your WorldPay installation ID to your Shopfitterr Order Viewer

Your WorldPay installation ID is required to tell your Order Viewer that credit card sales for your shop will be validated by WorldPay. This information is also passed to WorldPay during the validation and authorisation routine so that WorldPay can correctly track which merchant the sales should be credited to.

The Installation ID will be supplied by WorldPay when your application is accepted. Logon to your order viewer using the icon on your desktop. You will need to enter your User Name and Password as normal.

From the main order viewer screen, select Shop Manager then Use a

Payment Gateway Enter your WorldPay installation ID and click submit.

Shopfitter will then validate this information with WorldPay and confirm that your shop details have been updated.

 

2. Confirm your response URL with WorldPay

In order to ensure that WorldPay send confirmation responses to the correct address, they need to be advised where to send this information.

Simply send an email to WorldPay including your WorldPay Account name and Installation ID quoting the following URL: https://orders3.shopfitter.com/checkout/worldpay/index.cfm
